Closure is a Lie

The room went momentarily silent. Mrs. Kind would be hearing that her only child had likely been found. While there might be some relief in knowing Amber was no longer suffering, the idea of closure was a lie. The pain was never over for parents who lost their children. It changed over time, diminishing its stranglehold, but it never went away.
